BJP in Karnataka assembly election is three short of majority and it is first time that saffron has made roads in an important states of South India.A state which is venguard to the country"s advancement in leaps and bounds in information, technology and neo knowledge industry. An intellect state with diverse culture ,miniature India falls short in stability of state politics. An infrastructure need of the hours, the state looks for stable government and the thin majority of BJP will find difficult to retain their grip on goverance.A state which has past political history of defection, change of government and leadership, lure the disgruntled lots or left over legislature to form a syndicate to form next government.BJP edifice built on rebel candidates of ther political parties may be cause of their government to collapse.

The six independent winner legislatures lowest number ever win in assembly elections are in mid of hectic lobbying by the victor BJP to have their support in forming the government in Karnataka.Six independents legislatures the fulcrum providers of majority in state assembly, the four are Congress rebels, one is a JD-S rebel and sixth is a BJP rebel.

BJP leader, voiced optimism of getting the support of some of the independents.

“We have got the support of some independents. We will reveal their identity at the appropriate time," said senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu.
However, the party has begun talks with some independents as the Central leadership expressed confidence of forming the government but the road ahead in formation of government is uneven. The party"s performance and the nitty gritty of government formation were discussed at a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board which expressed satisfaction over the election results in the southern state.

“The Parliamentary Board analysed the results and expressed satisfaction over it. The results are on expected lines," party General Secretary Arun Jaitley, who was incharge of the state, told reporters after the meeting.

He said a meeting of the newly-elected MLAs will be held in Bangalore tomorrow to formally elect B S Yeddyurappa as the legislative party leader after which he will stake claim to form the government.Jaitley and former BJP President Venkaiah Naidu will attend the legislative party meeting as representatives of the Central leadership.

BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today described the party"s victory in Karnataka as a “verdict against Sonia Gandhi"s leadership".
“This is the 11th defeat of Congress in succession in the country and is nothing but a verdict against Congress President Sonia Gandhi"s leadership," she told reporters here.

Taking a swipe at the Congress manifesto which offered “freebies" for the poor like colour television sets and rice at Rs two a kilogram, she charged that the Congress never had shown concern for the poor when they ruled.

She expressed confidence about BJP winning the Lok Sabha polls also and L K Advani becoming the Prime Minister.

Most probably state will have its first BJP CM on Wednessday.

Next year general election will keep the reorientation of Kanataka politics remains alive and each party will take a step keeping in view of its image, the coalition of secular and third front make the situation more interesting,to which side the party turns is in difficult preposition in respect to national politics.
